On the 3rd of October 2016, we welcomed in Kalamata, Ms Thanh Vy, youth worker and project coordinator in Sj Vietnam organisation. Ms Thanh stayed in Kalamata for a 2-week job shadowing activity in the framework of the project Seeding Social Innovation in Local Communities implemented under the ERASMUS+ programme, KA2 Capacity Building in the Field of Youth and coordinated by Europe House Slavonski Brod organisation from Croatia.
During her visit in our country, Ms Thanh was introduced to the Youth Centre of Kalamata, an example of Social Innovation and volunteerism, and had the opportunity to discuss with its volunteers. She also got to know the work that we do in Social Youth Development organisation and to visit other organisations in the city the promote inclusion, youth participation and volunteerism, such as the Therapeutic Horse Riding Centre, Ipposhesi, and the Centre for Physical and Medical Rehabilitation of Kalamata (KEFIAP).
