Just one week is left before the begining of the seminar Feel, Share, Act: Youth Empowerment through Intercultural Learning implemented in the framework of the programme ALF/CFP/2015/EDU-ART co-funded by the Anna Lindh Foundation.
So far, the participants from Greece, France, Tunisia and Egypt have organised several meetings, in order to prepare better for their participation in this seminar.
The preparations include:
– Visa Arrangements for the teams from Egypt and Tunisia
– Travel arrangements
– Preparation of materials to be shared during the seminar. The Youth workers worked together with the young people to:
A. make an analysis of existing programmes for Intercultural Learning and intercultural activities in their area
B. interview people in their community to see what is missing in terms of Intercultural learning, which areas may be problematic and where they need to focus
C. collect tools and methods that are already used to promote Intercultural Learning and respect in cultural diversity. The youth workers and educators will use their experience in dealing with Intercultural Learning, whereas the young people will bring their own fresh perspective on the subject and their opinions and ideas about what is really needed by the community.
We are really looking forward to welcoming everybody in Kalamata on the 14th of January!
