Youth Exchange (12-20/09/2022) Rogoznica, Croatia

Our trip to Rogoznica was long even though it’s not too far away from Greece. It took us two flights and one bus and one train for us to arrive, but it was worth it. Quite a beautiful place surrounded by sea. Sadly, we did get some rain, but we didn’t let it ruin our mood. I didn’t expect to get used to being around so many people all the time but it was easier than expected. It was also very nice, it felt like we were a big family and with some people it felt like we knew each other for years. Also, everyone from the hosts were very friendly and ready to help us in anything that we might need. Throughout the project we learned more about European organizations and how to be a more active citizen. I was also surprised to see how some topics are viewed and handled in other countries. Also, we got to learn how it feels like to try to teach others through informal learning, something that was done by preparing a workshop for the rest of the team. Lastly, I really enjoyed the cultural nights and liked getting to know more about the other countries. Overall it was an amazing experience, one I would like to be able to live again.
