K.A.NE. Social Youth Development is participating in the ERASMUS+ Youth Exchange program entitled “Peace Love Unity Against Racism”. The first meeting, called Advance Planning Visit, for this youth exchange was held between the 13th and 15th of May in Paris, France.
In the meeting have participated the group leaders from the 8 participating countries. K.A.NE. was represented by Ms. Kleio Giannoukou.
Between 13-15 May 2019 I was in Paris, France for the Advanced Planning Visit (APV) for group leaders within the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Peace Love Unity Against Racism” programme framework. Spain, Portugal, England, Rumania, Turkey, Belgium, Greece and France were the nine participating countries in this programme with one participant per country. In this first meeting I was delighted to participate as K.A.N.E. Social Youth Development’s group leader of the Greek team.
The aim of the APV was for the participants to get to know each other, develop the agenda and manage the details of the Youth Exchange programme, which will take place in Paris, France from 30 June to 9 July 2019.The APV was very well organized and the overall experience very positive! We worked very well together as a team and we discussed the requirements for this project. We, also, visited all the locations we will be using in the summer at the hosting organization’s premises.
Thanks to K.A.NE. and Erasmus+, people from different countries and cultures are given the opportunity to meet and collaborate to create something purposeful and beautiful, which will benefit the youth.
