Η Κοινωνική Ανάπτυξη Νέων είναι σε θέση να προσφέρει την ευκαιρία σε ένα άτομο 18 -30 ετών να συμμετάσχει σε ΗΔΗ ΕΓΚΕΚΡΙΜΕΝΟ πρόγραμμα Ευρωπαϊκής Εθελοντικής Υπηρεσίας στη Μασσαλία της Γαλλίας.

Το πρόγραμμα καλύπτει πλήρως (100%) τα έξοδα διαμονής και διατροφής, συντονισμού, εσωτερικών μετακινήσεων, δραστηριοτήτων κτλ καθώς και 275 ευρώ από τα εξόδα του ταξιδίου από την Ελλάδα στη Γαλλία με επιστροφή. Επιπλέον, οι εθελοντές καλύπτονται με πλήρη ιδιωτική ασφάλιση, καθώς εντάσσονται στο πρόγραμμα ομαδικής ασφάλισης ατόμων που συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα Ευρωπαϊκής Εθελοντικής Υπηρεσίας.

VOLUNTEER’S PROFILE :
– Being eligible for European Voluntary Service
– Having an intermediate level in English and, preferably, a basic level of French
– Being greatly motivated by the project.
– Being at ease at leading intercultural and awareness workshops.
– Being willing to learn and participate within an intercultural team.
– Having a driving licence would be a plus
Activities/tasks :
– Raise awareness about learning mobility
– Support in the entire project-cycle: project writin, participants support, logistic organization, final reports writing
– Prepare the pedagogical contents of events and workshops
– Participate to the communication strategy of the organisation
– Participate in other projects and everyday life of Pistes Solidaires Méditerranée
– Participation in “Youth exchanges and Training courses” field of the organisation (Sending and hosting)
– Introduce Greek culture in English to pupils (10-15 y.o), lead intercultural workshops
Learning objectives:
– Develop a pedagogy for teaching languages and interculturality
– Develop organisation and adaptation skills
– Develop self-confidence and initiatives
– Develop ease in public speaking
– Get to know the international mobility tools and programs (Erasmus +) and the following of projects
Practical arrangements :
Working hours, days off per week
31,5 hours per week; days off on Saturday and Sunday, the Friday afternoon is also off.
Holiday
He/She will have 2 days a month available for vacation, that he/she will be able to use according to his/her convenience for his/her personal activities. The organisation has to agree on the dates.
Food and pocket money
The volunteer will get 200 euros per month for his/her food. The volunteer will cook the meals by herself; all standard cooking equipment is provided in the house. He/She will also get an allowance of 115 Euros per month as pocket money.
Accommodation
The volunteer will have a single room in fully equipped flat, shared with other volunteers. The volunteer will leave in a flat in Marseille together with 3 other volunteers. The volunteers will be responsible for the maintenance of the house.
Hosting Organisation :
Pistes Solidaires Méditerranée (PSM) is an NGO, created in 2013, working on the field of non-formal education. It aims at promoting citizenship (equality, tolerance, altruism) in our intercultural society and interdependent world. The organisation is involved in training youngsters as “change makers”, through enabling meetings and exchange between youngsters from different cultures and various horizons.
PSM develops a number of international projects supported by the Erasmus+ program and OFAJ :
• Sending, hosting and coordinating EVS volunteers
• International trainings for youth workers
• Organisation intercultural youth exchanges
• A strategic partnership aiming at facilitating the integration of young migrants through mentoring
The team is composed of 5 employees and a team of 5 to 8 volunteers (EVS & Service Civique) and interns. Our network gathers also a number of active followers, attending our trainings and events and involved as “youth leaders” in our youth exchanges.
