K.A.NE. (Social Youth Development) joins the Global Citizens’ Dialogue on the Future of Internet – We, the Internet !
K.A.NE. (Social Youth Development) joins the global initiative We, the Internet as an international partner of GEYC – Group of the European Youth for Change, project coordinator in Romania.
The project will be organized in Romania under the brand of EDYS- European Digital Youth Summit – # EDYS20 and will take place online for 3 days, between 8-10 October 2020, with an international component (8 October 2020) and workshops (9 and 10 October ) dedicated exclusively to Romanian participants.
The goal of the opening event which will take place on October 8th is to bring together Internet Governance stakeholders from across the globe in order to discuss best practices, future trends and identify key issues related to the topic.
The registration for the opening event is possible on www.edys.eu until October 2nd.
This year’s edition will take place online and we are expecting a diverse audience, both in terms of geographical locations and backgrounds. Anyone who is interested in the topic and has access to a device connected to the internet can participate.

EDYS is an event under the patronage of the European Parliament and is organized as part of the global We, the Internet initiative, coordinated by a coalition of partners such as the European Commission, Council of Europe, UNESCO, Public Missions, Internet Society, Wikimedia Foundation, World Wide Web Foundation, Forum World Economy, the Swiss and German governments and private sector actors such as Google and Facebook.
