Short Description
The project will last from September 2016 to end of July 2017 and its activities include 1 international seminar, where the participants will develop an innovative Intercultural education module and an e-platform for sharing intercultural learning tools and methods, 8 local workshops/training courses to test the module, as well as preparation, evaluation and visibility activities.
The main target group of the project are youth workers and youth organisations, as well as formal education institutions, but the projects addresses directly also young people interested in developing intercultural learning skills. Through this project we hope to contribute to the development of education for intercultural citizenship in both the non-formal as well as the formal education sectors, create a sharing space for people involved in intercultural education and contribute to the raising of awareness for the importance of tolerance, social cohesion and solidarity among all members of our societies, while fostering the collaboration and active participation of people from diverse cultural backgrounds in civil society activities. Finally, through this project we hope to strengthen our partnership and build a wide network of organisations in the EuroMed region, creating common projects in the field of intercultural learning.
